Parents of Black Children advocacy group collaborated with DAYO Media & Communications to create an Educators’ Anti-Black Racism Toolkit
Client News! Ontario educators can now access a new resource developed by Parents of Black Children and written and designed by DAYO Media & Communications.
The Educators’ Anti-Black Racism Toolkit was created by Parents of Black Children. The parent advocacy group conceived of the resource as a way to support educators and administrators who work with Black students from Kindergarten to Grade 12. The DM&C team wrote, edited and designed the English and French versions of the Toolkit. The Educators’ Anti-Black Racism Toolkit was funded in part by the Ontario Ministry of Education.
“The Parents of Black Children Educators’ Anti-Black Racism Toolkit is a resource to help educators understand how Black students experience the Canadian education system. It also provides a framework that educators throughout the country can use to adopt inclusive, anti-Black racist teaching practices in their classrooms.” – Parents of Black Children
